I don’t ride Motorcycles. Don’t like them, think they are dangerous and loud and annoying. The last time I was on one was when I was 11 years of age and I wrecked my buddy’s new motorbike the day after X-mas.

So why on earth would I venture out to the Venice Vintage Motorcycle show?

Because no matter how I feel about riding a motorcycle, that doesn’t negate the fact that they are cool. And this particular show is a vintage motorcycle show so it’s double cool. Throw in the fact that there is live music from rockabilly band “Fast Otto” and the fact that it is just down the road from where I’m staying, and walah.. I’m there. There was another band called “Devil’s Nest” that played some instrumental (complete with fiddle) in sort of a citified version of country bluegrass music that I thought was pretty damn cool as well.
